Good news :) - I called Kirby coaches & they confirmed that the dog I saw last night is one of their dogs & he’s back safe & sound, the lady I spoke to said the doors to the house were open yesterday evening as it was so hot & humid, sounds like Benny decided to go walk about, they’ve had him since October & he’s 18months old. At least he knows where home is, but I did say that if I’d have been driving a little faster I could have hit him, I hope they will be a little more careful in the future

I thought it was a bit far away, but sounded so like him. Thank you

Hi Dorothy, no he was fairly tall, I have a springer & he was taller than him but not as tall as a pointer, he was very light brown, I hope you find Ginger x
dorothy
Hello, was the dog quite short? Could I get you to have a look at Ginger who went missing from Canterbury on Sunday? This is the link to his page on here http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=53725#.UcIyi5woHhM Thank you.

I didn't want to go further down the unmade road as it was getting dark, 21:45 this evening, but I'll call Kirby coach hire tomorrow morning, maybe he's their dog
Paula Griffin's Mum
I went back to my car & knocked on the house he ran out from, lady answered the door, she'd not lost a dog & after I described him to her she didn't recognise the description

Sighted bottom of Bull Lane, he trotted out in front of my car & ran into Princess Road, an unmade road, a company called Kirby coach hire have a yard at the end of the road. I got out of my car & followed him, crouched down & called softly to him,no eye contact, he looked interested then turned & trotted off away from the main road.
