I am so pleased this lovely girl is home. Thank you so much Pati for alerting us & keeping an eye on Rescue Roxy until those that could get there arrived & then letting them in to the field. A brilliant group effort from all plus "Team Roxy" who were able to get down there so quickly, thank you & well done.Thank you Angus for posting up all that was needed whilst I was away from my computer. Let's hope this can somehow be repeated with dear Roxy from UB9 .

So happy for this lovely baby - she looked pleased as punch to be back with Jane. Well done to her and huge thanks to Pati for spotting her in the first place, keeping an eye on her overnight, reporting in to DogLost and providing access to the playing field this morning - you're a star Pati!
Christine Cullen
So glad we managed to find her safely!!! She was in a huge sports field with secure fencing all the way round. Don't know how she managed to get in there, but I called jane to come out as she was obviously scared and with the help of Barbara's stinky garlic sausages Roxy eventually went to Jane (in a heap on the floor!) and plenty of tail wags later and more food she went happily into the car and home. Well done everyone! :)

Thanks everyone. There are a couple of people down there right now keeping an eye on her without being too invasive to frighten her off & someone who Rescue Roxy knows very well is on her way. Hopefully there will be some good news soon.

it was around 10 in the evening and this play field is gated so there is quite a lot of chances that the dog is still here

Thank you Angus. X .
If anyone could put up posters in the area that Rescue Roxy was sighted yesterday ,this would be would be really appreciated. Ford Lane SL0 9NE - Near Farlows Lake.
Roxy is very timid & is likely to run away if approached. Please may we ask that if she is seen the number is called as soon as possible rather than trying to pursue her.If possible a photo of her if spotted would be a great help. Thanks everybody. I have updated the name to RESCUE ROXY - Any calls with sightings can this please be quoted RESCUE ROXY - We currently have two GSD bitches called Roxy missing in very close proximity UB7 & UB9 and we don't want any calls to send searchers to the wrong dog

I went out first thing this morning and had a nosey round there. There are open gates back onto the Fraye although I'm not sure where it goes underground (going to walk it shortly) before coming up again near Rockingham Rec and running along the Cowley Rd Uxbridge. She could also have turned left and headed back towards Iver Lane, which she would have had to cross and then maybe gone back down Old Mill Lane to Little Britain. She obviously spent some time in Little Britain before coming out in Ford Lane. Spoken to a couple of locals and the newsagents in Station Road have my mobile number....just in case and until we can get the posters done....but it's Sunday and the copy shop is closed.

She is wearing a red collar

Will let everyone in our training club know tomorrow.
doglady
We are so worried about this little girl can anyone in that area please get posters out and keep an eye out for her she must be very frighten now this is a strange area to her...she is a bit timid so approach carefully. Last edited: 2013-06-23 09:50:37 by doglady

No Nik, she's probably followed the river right to Little Britain nature reserve, you can get to Ford Lane on foot that way.
There's an agility club based at Huntsmoor Park on Ford Lane, maybe she heard them training today.
Unknown
If this is right she's traversed the mainline and the M25. I think she is using the river and the canal to go under both. Two miles as the crow flies from where she went missing to where she was spotted.
Lorraine K9 Capers DTC
How long ago was this ?
She's gone back to the river...is anyone down there now ?
Christine Cullen
Roxy came out of Ford Lane, Iver turning right into Iver Lane towards Uxbridge and luckily the temporary traffic lights had just changed so slow traffic and she ran in front of a car heading back towards Uxbridge. The driver tried several times to catch her but she wouldnt have any of it and vanished in Hermitage Close, Uxbridge behind the Coachman's Inn. Last edited: 2013-06-22 20:58:31 by Christine Cullen

She is beautiful, lets hope she can be reunited soon, stay safe until then Roxy

Roxy was spotted 3 hours ago in Iver Lane, SL0 9NE near Coachmans Inn. Ran out in front of a car, person tried to catch her but she ran off. Please if anyone in this area can you have a scout around and call us if you spot her.
Pearl46
Might be an idea to put a poster in nearby Morrisons the canal runs at the back of the shop by the car park, and also Pets at Home has the canal behind it,and they accept posters. There is also the Frays river that runs from where Roxy was last. Also suggest on Monday the Hillingdon Borough Dog Warden,on the main Civic Centre number. If she crossed West Drayton High street, she could follow the canal the other direction to Stockley Park.Hoping that she is found soon,I will keep an eye open for her.

Have shared on facebook groups - hope Roxy is found safe and well. Julie x

If following the river she could reach either Iver or Uxbridge.
Also there's the option of the canal, which leads to Langley.
There are 2 vets local to the area, a Pets at home store & of course the dogs trust (lots of people take found dogs there)

This seems to be very near Thorney Park golf course and Frays Island nature reserve.
