Thank you to Sue E for all your help and support on Saturday. Tai was collected on Sunday and reunited with his very happy and relieved owner. Tears all round and so grateful for this fantastic website. Thank you again.

Sue I will contact you when I get back to Andover next week, I believe the police gave you bad advice - only two days ago I asked them what procedures they have for lost dogs and they said they refer it to the local authority. Wilts and Hampshire work very separately ! Was this dog by Harewood forest? Picket twenty new estate (close to no station)? Or near co-op /DLO end of Andover

Hi

The owner has contacted me by telephone, after viewing your website, and is arranging to pick the dog up as soon as possible.

What a wonderful outcome, thanks to your website!

Kind regards

Sue

Sammie, the owner has contacted me and will be speaking to the Dogs Trust to reclaim him. I called the police at the very busy road side and they asked if we could take him to a vet or rescue centre as they were unable to attend straight away, they did not give me any other contact numbers to call. As I live in Amesbury the only rescue centre I knew of was The Dogs Trust, Newton Tony. Hopefully this is a happy ending thanks to the website.

Thank you for posting , I can,t believe all these dogs getting lost and found while I am on holiday. The dog should have gone to councils out of hours if it was in Sp10 which is not the dogs trust as that is Wilts over the boarder . If it was SP 10 can you phone 01264 368000 to report to out of hours for Andover. I will try and notify dw but I am in Devon currently!
