- BRILLIANT NEWS! I have just got home from the Steam Rally site and am delighted to have been there when Jes was reunited with her owners.
Jes is a very very lucky girl - she was picked up by the family that found her on the main road at the bottom of Kelsall Hill. I think you were right Owl... things were quietening down and she was on her way back onto the site grounds.
Jes owners have been overwhelmed by the help and support they have received and would like say a big THANK YOU to those who have shared and postered and spread the word and especial THANKS go to the lovely family who found her and kept her safe.
I suspect they will all sleep well tonight. Stay safe now Jes :))) xxx
PS - Jes - you're gorgeous and I've been assured when the family are home that we will get a reunited photo to prove it!! xx - 2013-06-23 21:52 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- It is possible that little Jes may be in hiding still and may make her way back to the farm when all the steam engines and people have gone.

I have copied the original details posted below:
On holiday at Kelsall Steam Rally. Fireworks went off about 10 p.m. (didn't know they were scheduled)Jes got a fright and bolted from the tent. We are very anxious to find her as we have to go home to Fife today. We have been up all night searching for her. Please please help us find her and take her home.

- I have spoken to Jes's owners. They are attending the steam rally at Churches View Farm, Kelsall, CH3 8BH, as exhibitors.
Jess is only 9 months old and took fright at last night's fireworks. They have searched the exhibitors camp ground and have spread the word as much as possible locally, but have no printer for posters.
I have also spoken to the council's out of hours kennels - Acorn and have given them Jes's details. As yet they have had no reports of her being found, but they will contact Jes's owners if they do.
I will be heading out to meet Jes's owners shortly with posters, but if anyone else can help with postering or searching I'm sure it would be very much appreciated.
All crossed Jes has been taken in locally and will be home soon. x - 2013-06-23 13:25 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
