An older female English Springer is currently at Hilbrae Pets Hotel and Rescue Centre as a stray - could this be Popsy? See their FB page for photo and details.

I have posted this missing dog on my Facebook page as I live not too far from Mow Cop and have family and friends in Biddulph. Hope she is found soon safe and sound

Spoke to owners daughter, she has contacted City Dogs Home and local vets. I have advised local radio and the Highways Agency. Lady did inform Police when she went missing. Owner is worried she may have gone into woods nearby.

Hi the post code given is about 30 miles away from the area Popsy was meant to be lost in. Can u just confirm that it was mow cop please? Also on the evening of 19th I was driving through this area and noticed something on the pavement on the a34 by the turning to mow cop that leads up to the hollows. It was covered over with black plastic and I hate to admit but I was too scared to stop and have a look as I was frightened what I might find. Had Popsy been listed earlier I may have done. As a Springer owner myself I really hope my fears aren't correct but thought I would mention it.
