He is fine thanks Claire, no idea where he spent the night, was so cold and windy, we were really worried for him.

Have spoken to owner and update the details.

Where Basil has gone missing borders with Knowsley. I've advised owner to contact both Liverpool and Knowsley DW's, AW's, Liverpool RSPCA, PDSA, Windsor Vets and other vets. Posters need putting up asap have discussed this with owner. Good that he is chipped and details are up to date. Will send info/advice email, do photo and start sharing when home from work, hopefully he will be home by them.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.
