FLETCHER IS HOME. Sorry I haven't updated the page for a while but the owner contacted me a couple of weeks ago to say he had found out where Fletcher was and he has been patiently waiting to get him back. It turns out Fletcher was picked up in Alford and taken home by the lady. She made no reports to the dog warden or council and intended to keep him. It was purely by chance that someone spotted him at her home and passed on the information.

Thanks Heidi I alerted the owner to that dog the day the council added him to their website. The owner said it did look just like him and was going to contact the council. I have heard nothing since but will update this page if I do.

Someone posted a comment this week on a cross posting of this lad to say if he has a white patch on his chest SKDC ( which stands for south kesteven district council i think) have one at their pound, i did comment that i assume they would have scanned for a chip, chips can migrate or be removed by unscrupulous persons , so although a long shot, might be worth a call ? Just had a phone call from a lovely man who saw a little black dog walking along the side of the main Lincoln to Wragby road at about 3.15 this afternoon. The dog was heading towards Wragby. He was unable to stop but called me asap and I have passed on the information to Fletcher's owner. He is heading out that way right now to investigate. Last edited: 2013-07-01 17:44:40 by AlisonH
