There are four rottweilers currently at Rosedene rescue, one of them is a rather large boy. Quite a distance from where Kruger was taken but worth a try. The phone number is 01922 627013 (11am-3pm).

I have emailed Krugers poster to the rescue centres in the London area including Battersea,The Dogs Trust,Woodgreen-London,Mayhew Animal Home and the smaller ones in the area.I hope and pray that he is home soonxxx

sorry about time of post but I just had news that we can clarify...the dog was definately taken from his home in November 2005 and was reported to police straight away...the owner also was a victim of a burglary in December 2005...as i have said before he was in hospital from Oct 2005 to Jan 2006..I have spoken to the relatives of Krugers owner and they verify all crime numbers ..and they wish this to be investigated fully and thoroughly...it is definately a stolen dog from a premises....and not a lost dog.... thanks....how are we doing for posting fliers....does anyone need some if they cant print them...please let me know...

I'm thinking media coverage is the only way forward with this one! I am really busy tomorrow but will start badgering journalists on Thursday! I am not far from Fulham so will get in contact and go over and visit! Kruger is going to be my personal mission. B****y hell - poor owner!! To get a doggie (I'm assuming since pup) then being in hospital for so long and being so ill and not being able to see his dog, Kruger then goes missing!!! What awful circumstances and I'm sorry I can't help as not in area! I really do hope you get some good news soon and I'll keep checking Krugers story! Best of luck x Vic x

I went to see owner today and a new pic will be posted soon..the info we were first given is not actally correct ..I have spoken to Jayne and she asked me to update....this dog went missing while the owner was in hospital ( he was in hosp seriously ill from Oct 05 to Jan 06 most of the time in intensive care) ..friends and family were looking after the dog... I spoke to the police today as requested by owner to get a crime number and we found out the the police that the dog was reported missing 21st Novemebr and the burgary was repoted 20 Dec...we have no idea if there is a connection and the police have no leeds at all...all the dogs documents were taken ...even the album of pics of the dog were taken....hence the prob getting a true pic...This poor man is beside himself and missing his Boy very much...I am now in contact with him and will update on his behalf where possible...I took a printout of your messages with me for him and he was soo grateful and said to say thank you ...so .. THANKYOU ALL x

Nearest Rottweiler Welfare Association I can find in the KC Rescue Directory is Streatham, London 0208 764 1797. I hope Cruger is home safe and sound soon x
