- Owner rang me early this morning as had a call around 11.30pm last night from a lady who had seen Stone in Sutton-In Craven but when approached him he ran off. Gave no for Craven dog warden and Moss Side Kennels in Cowling and I rang vets at Cross Hills in case he was taken in. Just had call to say Stone was picked up by 2 police officers around 2am this morning and taken to Moss Side. Owner is on his way to collect him now. He was due to be neutered and chipped next week but suggested getting the chip done earlier. Thanks to the police who picked him up to keep him safe. Delighted this boy has been found xxx

Stone went missing from the garden around 12 noon today. It is believed he has jumped over the fence and gone out through the neighbours garden. Owner tried to contact dog warden but went to ansaphone so will contact them tomorrow. Advised contacting all the surrounding dog wardens to register Stone and gave contact details for all the relevant holding kennels recommended owner check in person with the stray kennels as he may be logged/described by someone else as a staffie/staffie cross. He is only 11 months old. Posters will be printed off and got out tomorrow and vets contacted.
