Went to Manchester Dogs Home yesterday and no sign of Sasha or any lookalike that could be a possible. Was quite surprised not to find her poster already up in reception but left one anyway. Didn't manage to make it to Peggy Henderson's but I will try again tomorrow as I can't get there today!

Going to Manchester Dogs Home and Peggy Henderson's today so printed posters to take with me but will also have a look around!

I have just spoken to Sasha's owner and she has now been gone for 6 weeks - there has been no news except for one possible phone call but it wasn't her!! Owner ( I just realised I didn't get his name ) goes to Manchester and Leigh dogs homes every weekend on Saturday so the 7 days don't expire and his wife calls twice a day to check any new arrivals. I'll keep you updated. Vicki x

Can help with posters if needed but not in your direct area. Let me know. Can get to Peggy Hendersons and vet in Ashton on Mersey - best mates mum works there - is it possible she could have wandered down the mersey and been picked up in Sale water park?? Lots of dog walkers, joggers, cyclists (and dodgy fella's that sit in cars alone after dark) that may have seen something?? Can you get a poster so I can have a wander?? And how lovely for Petmedics to be helping to - being an ambulance driver I'm sure you get about (meant in the nicest way possible) I was up at yours on Valentine's Day!! After a romantic meal out we had to bring my doggy in for a bad eye infection - you all know the one I mean but I can't spell!!! Out of curiosity when you treat the injured animals where do you take them???? Manchester Dogs Home?? I've got a contact that works in the shop there so can try and get hold of her? The family tree is too long to explain but I'm sure I could get a number for her!

have you rung Petmedics 0161-794-4999. Petmedics is a 24 hour animal hospital covering Greater Manchester Area. I am an ambulance driver for them and regularly pick up stray injured animals. A record of all casualties is kept at the surgery so give them a call. Hope you find her soon.

Owner go and look round Manchester dogs Home at Harpurhey, Peggy Henderson sanctuary at Stretford, Leigh Dogs Home on the East Lancs Road. Once we have a photo poster the area and contact Royal Mail, taxi firms, etc.
