After a few days of Meg relieving herself on the house, she's got herself sorted ( I quess where ever she was kept for 6 months, she never had a chance to be 'clean').
she's settling down well, and has learned to sleep in her bed, rather than the floor.
The bare patches on her body are now growing hair again..
All in all, Meg is a very happy little girl..
A huge thank you to everyone who helped with posters, 'spying', moral support, etc. A 'special' thanks to all the doglost 'staff' and 'volunteers' ... Rob, Meg, and the rest of the 'pack'......

Update on Meg.....
She is being treated for Sarcoptic Mange, by Vets.
Redness has disappeared, although her body is now full of scabs... She has stopped scratching..... Apart from the above, she is in very good condition, she'd been well fed, and kept fit..... She definately has NOT had any pups....She has to wear a 'flowerpot' to keep her from licking herself.... something she is not impressed with....
lilliegez
I am so happy for you all. I hope meg is ok and she settles back in ok.

Not the prettiest reunited photo sadly - poor Meg- but her tail is wagging to her ears and she has had Venison Loin for her dinner. she will soon be right, the mange will be gone and is otherwise in good condition it seems- and very happy to be home. Best start to 2014 - keep them coming :D x

Meg, is now sitting and my side..... Some thing I never thought I'd see again...
She is well fed, but suffering terribly from Sarcoptic Mange.. treatment has already started for that..
Thanks to Vets for Pets in Luton, who scanned her and found microchip, Brian, the young man who found her, and took her to Vet, and Doglost for never giving up on her...

would local papers put in photo and story of meg, might help.
ClaireC
Lillegez, I would say the more posters the better as it can help make her TOO HOT TO HANDLE. Even giving some to your local vets can only help to raise a much greater awareness of this lovely girl. So wishing to see her in the blue column.
lilliegez
just wanted to say im in Leighton buzzard if I can help in any way just let me know. do you want me to put any posters up here or take some to my local vets.
Fern
Hi there, I am sorry to hear that your dog has been stolen. If you are interested, we are forming a group to have a meeting with police officers covering the south east to highlight the fact that dog theft in our area is a problem. My dog was stolen in April and it has been hard to get the support of the authorities. Please contact me at jodie.coller@ntlworld.com if you would like to be involved. Best wishes Jodie

Hi do you know if anybody has postered up near the golf club especially near to where Daisy and Buster were found last time? Also good places to poster are pet shops, especially if she has been sold on and somebody goes to buy her a new lead etc. Pets At Home (Aylesbury) (or is it called Pet City) opposite side of the road to B & Q is a good place to poster. They also have a vet in there now. Also you could ask Hampden Vets in Aylesbury if they could keep an eye out of a "new" Cocker coming in on their books. They will, also put this out to their other branches in the area. Hope this brings in some more news. Last edited: 2013-07-16 19:06:18 by ClaireC

Firstly.......many thanks to all those who have put out posters.....

No news on Meg..... not even a whisper...
ClaireC
Hi, nice to speak to you today lets hope that Meg is reunited with you soon. You could ask Doglost to put your stolen Ferret on as well who knows if the Ferret turns up then Meg might be close by. x
ClaireC
Hi any update? Have you or anybody else done some postering around about your direction. I know when I helped with Daisy and Buster last time I did go up to the golf club nearby. Has anybody been up there and left them a poster?
BBKM

Yes please as much instant help as possible with postering all local areas round Billington, Stanbridge, Tilsworth, Hockliffe, Leighton Buzzard and anyone known ie farmers.
Meg is the daughter of Daisy that went missing with Buster a few months ago and luckily were got back home.
The sooner info gets out and about the better, by stiles, on lampposts, through peoples doors...no pic yet but she is dark roan in colour. Please help as yet again the owner is distraught.
PLEASE COULD PEOPLE REPORT BACK ON HERE WHERE THEY ARE POSTERING AS THE CONTINUITY OF CONTACT IS VITAL.
There are a lot of community events around at weekends, please attend and put up leaflets give them out to people as ice cram vans and hot dog stalls to display them....every single thing helps......
WE MUST GET MEG BACK!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE IN ADVANCE
Raly
In hockliffe, will make appoint of driving that way when going to work, if I can be of any help please let me know...x
