I'm sure you've thought of everything as this seems a very well coordinated search, but I know from experience that a favourite play toy can trigger joyful memories for the dog and snap them out of their fear. One of my dogs hates going to the vets and despite being the greediest dog on the planet trying to distract her with food doesn't help at all, having a ball handy does though and she simply can't ignore it despite her best attempts. Are the searchers armed with a tennis ball/favourite toy that can be bounced in front of Tilly if she appears ? It might help to reinforce the recognition she feels when she sees her owners. I really hope that Tilly is found safe and well very soon, we have changed our walk route to incorporate the area where she has been seen just in case she can be spotted. The word is certainly out as every single dog walker we bumped into at the weekend knew about Tilly being lost and were all on the lookout for her. Good Luck.

Poor Tilly, hope Her Owners Catch Her Soon!

Tilly was SIGHTED last night in the same area as the last sightings but again slipped away into the shadows and is evading all efforts by her owners and helpers to catch her.

There have been more sightings of Tilly but she is not taking any food from the area her owners set up a feeding station so they are leaving food in a new area which is within the triangle that Tilly is covering. Hoping so much that Tilly will be back home very soon xxx
Tracy
confirmed sighting last night/early hours, began to come tentatively to owner's voice/encouragement then scared off as other searchers tried to help. Softly softly approach needed

Thanks very much spottydog !
There was SIGHTING of Tilly yesterday morning between 9 and 9.30 am near the Sowerby to Dalton Road quite close to the recycling point and near the A 168 flyover bridge. Also another possible SIGHTING of her in a nearby area at around 10.30 last night.
Owners and some helpers are heading out tonight to sit quietly at various points to watch if she shows herself again. They are aware not to chase after her especially with the danger of the nearby busy road. I have also advised with regards scenting and setting up a feeding station.
Fingers crossed Tilly comes out again tonight and will be back home very soon xxLast edited: 2013-07-06 20:36:12 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

Hi, I'm from Sowerby and just did a thorough sweep of the big cornfield between York road and the flatts near the gypsy camp. I went right round the edge and checked the big thick hedge which runs along it. Where was Tilly last seen? Ill go down again tomorrow.
