So sorry to see your Ziggy is missing. Try to put up as many posters as possible, shops, lamposts. etc. I also gave details to Brighton dog photographer of an animal communicator. She gave accurate information to an owner of a dog that was lost in Lindfield. She told then the location and that it would be found in a barn, alive and well. Just a thought, it may be worth calling her. Her name is Catherine - 01824 705510
Dogs lost recommended her to the owners. Best of luck, hope Ziggy is home soon.

On Thursday evening around 5pm I was travelling on the bus along new church road in hove. I saw a dog (similar to Ziggys description, except I'm pretty certain that the dog I saw had longer hair than the one in pic) walking along the high street, no owner or lead or anything. A few people were just watching him/her trot up and down the street, he actually ended up doing a poo in the middle of the pavement whilst the police were parked up next to him!!? Surely police should have had their eyes open! I wasn't happy about this at all.. I wanted to get off the bus but was late for work and the dog ended up going down saint aybuns road.
I immediately rang my mother and she phoned the RSPCA.. Who weren't exactly helpful to be honest. As I said, the dog I saw could well have been a lurcher.. But from what I remember it had scruffy hair.. I may be wrong!! I don't know.. Either way I'd like to know this info if it was me!! I hope you find your dog! Don't give up.. Also, maybe call them up and say that a lady phoned up on Thursday saying they saw a dog similar to this description etc and was it ever found?? Good luck!! xxx

Just saw this ad on gumtree for a found dog in Brighton BN1 - breed description does not match but some people are not good at identifying breeds so might be worth checking?

We found a dog walking the streets near coldean lane, brighton earlier today (10/7) he may be a large jack Russell? Please get in touch if he's yours. No time wasters!! He's a lovely boy and owners must be missing him. 07805647143 Unquote

Tried all the obvious options. He's. chipped so I'd hope they would check.

I'm guessing that the RSPCA at Patcham has been tried to see if he is there?

Travellers have just moved into the park opposite Carden School, might be worth a check. They moved there from waterhall yesterday. Neighbours mother0in0law walks up on the golf course that way will ask her to keep a look out.

54487 looks very much like Ziggy except the dog has white paws. Ziggy is completely brindle Lurcher. Many thanks for the comments. Let's keep looking! I know he's out there.

Rode horse to Woolstenbury hill via Pyecombe golfclub so sign of Ziggy there. I have contacted local farmer who is keeping a look out too for him. Also rode horse to Stanmer park and no sign also.
