- She's been found - thank goodness! A lovely family living in Broad Street found her in their garden this evening. She hid to start with, but they managed to coax her out with some food. They then called the Council who told them where she'd been lost from and they kindly drove over to ours to see if we were the owners. A quick drive over to check she was ours and there she was, wagging her tail and playing with her squeaky toy!
Thanks to everyone that looked out for her - you made a very difficult few hours a little more bearable. Knowing there were kind people out there looking out for our loved one was very heart warming.
Thanks also to all the lovely and kind people we met out there, who had seen she was missing via facebook, it was like she was a minor celeb! She also got a royal welcome when we drove her back home, our neighbours were there to greet us and were as happy to see Millie home as much as we were.
Suffice to say she'll be receiving lots of cuddles and treats and will probably be wondering what all the fuss is all about!
Thanks again, you've all been incredible!

- Simon I put it on a few of the 'chesham' groups on facebook last night
- 2013-07-09 13:46 SimonC
- We've been putting up posters (thanks for yours Lisa) and had a walk through Bois Wood and the Moor, but still no sign of her. We haven't heard anything from any vets or rescue places either... lots of walkers said they'd seen her on facebook, but any idea which page they've seen?
- 2013-07-09 10:16 SimonC
- Thanks Lisa, that would be cool, don't get in trouble though!
We're going to put up some posters and also look around the woods between Chesham/Amersham.
Hopefully someone will spot her! - 2013-07-09 10:04 kellyamina
- Lisa told me last night about Millie, and I have shared the link on a few Chesham groups on facebook, and my own status. Have only just registered here but have often looked on the site, and would like to add what a great job you all do. If theres anything I can do to help with Millie pls let me know

- Simon & Amy - do you want me to print some posters off at work and bring them home at lunchtime? xx
- 2013-07-09 09:55 Kay
- Simon: Fingers crossed she makes her way back home again. Worth speaking to the farmer at Hill Farm, also have a nice smelly barbecue in your garden each evening so she can follow her nose back home.

- Looks like you ran into one of our dog walkers. She's never bolted from home before. She's run home before though - she gets spooked by loud noises.
Thank you so much for looking for her, it helps knowing there are other kind people looking for her too!

- Hi Sam - yep, GO TEAM TRIPP! Apparently Millie's bolted before and covered 5 miles in Latimer direction before stopping. I was thinking of the woods around the Latimer valley, but she'll also be drawn to food smells right now, so maybe looking around streets and shops would be worthwhile too, smelly sausages being wafted. Good luck.

- Shared on FB and will have a hunt round the moor at lunchtime. Seems Team Tripp are back in action for Millie x

- Been over Chesham Moor, spoken to lots of dog walkers. Spoke to a lady who knows Millie - she can run and cover some distance! Link will be put on Chesham Facebook page. SamH - Millie could be in your area or heading your way, I'll have a look in the woods this afternoon.

- Excellent - I can get out for a couple of hours this morning and again this afternoon. When you're out searching, take smelly food with you - warm sausages or burgers or a tin of sardines. Good luck!

- SHe went missing from Rose Drive in Chesham and we received a sighting of a 'beige staffie with red collar' last night stating she was seen crossing a bridge nr Moor Road.
We've looked everywhere we can think of and will continue today.
Thank you for the advice we will try everyone you suggest.
