Yes the link below is Pearl and NJ being rescued, they are both so very lucky.

I'm glad they have both been found and now back home safe and sound. They are both ok.

Well done to Manchester Fire and Rescue for rescuing Pearl and NJ :)

This is a comment of MFR FB page.
"Crews were called to land on Townfield Close in Bury just after 1am on Thursday, July 11.
Watch Manager Roy Grundy said: “The dogs had been missing for a couple of days and their owners had put posters up in the area.
“When we arrived just after 1am, the two dogs were stuck around six metres down a one metre wide sewer pipe. We worked slowly and carefully to get them out.
“Alongside an RSPCA inspector, we called for our water rescue unit from Heywood which stores animal rescue equipment and our Enhanced Rescue Unit so we could check that the sewer wasn’t giving off gases.
“A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus went down into the pipe on rope rescue equipment and rescued the dogs one by one.
“They looked very wet, dirty and bedraggled but thankfully they were OK.”

Shared these 2 on FB, hope they are reunited asap.

Is NJ a male? Looks it on the photo - there was one picked up in BL4 on 08/07/13, maybe worth checking out?
