What a relief. I am sure Sharon and King will both need a couple days to catch up on their sleep. Let's hope he sticks close from now on.
Thanks for the text Tiana, and a big thank you to all who have been helping.

Hi,just back home. Can't explain how wonderful it was seeing owner cuddle King when we caught him just 10 minutes away from Otter Bridge in Tehidy woods. He's a gorgeous boy, looks well & so happy to be back with his pack. Thank you for all the sightings to allow us to narrow down the search.

I've been out looking this morning. Drove from tehidy through Combe, through all the back roads down to Godrevy and then back along the coast road past hell's mouth cafe and back through Combe looking in fields but no sign. I didn't see any posters at all along the way. Camborne show is on in the Combe area today. It would be really good to get a poster at the entrance as cars drive in as its really getting busy up there. I spoke to owners friend last night as there is a hang gliding company who launch and fly from a a field in the area king was last spotted and gave her their website name to contact and ask to keep a look out from bird's eye view. From Combe king could easily get back into woods where there is shade and streams to drink from. Will walk in the woods later with my own dogs to look.
Helen
I went to Tehidy woods this evening and had a good look around in case King has gone back into the woods. I also drove along the coast road to Hells Mouth but sadly no sign of him. I did notice Redruth and district model flying club have their annual display weekend nearby. Maybe worth asking them to keep an eye out. Hope he is found soon.
SC
I've been watching this thread hoping King will be found soon. I live in Tehidy and will keep an eye out. I'll also go out around the coast roads over the weekend to have a look. We take our dogs to Godrevy and drive the back roads from Tehidy out to Hell's Mouth Cafe so will keep our eyes open.

King spotted yesterday afternoon on land between Sandsifters (Godrevy) & Hells Mouth (Cafe toward Tehidy). Owner out looking this morning on beach nearby. Need more volunteers out on coastal road to help locate him if anyone free? If you spot him, don't try to catch him or spook him, call owner on number above - she'll come to you. Thank you.

Sent email with advice and spoken to friend of owner.

I have been to places I never knew exsisted on the back roads, at one point I had to stop to let a motormobility scooter pass lol. I cannot get hold of Sharon but have been speaking to her friend.....Also stopped lots of people walking thier dogs (someone told me about a jack loose on the road at Coonor bridge so have also been up there but couldnt see him.)Am now home can help if needed but not sure where I could go without a sighting..I think he will start moving when it gets cooler , as he isnt far from Hayle I assume he will still be heading home.

Local resident believes King may have been on her grounds last night - as own dogs unsettled, so is going to look out when on walks later. Also Kings owner now has a friend with tracking dogs in vicinity, so fingers crossed it's just a matter of time.
Dog Warden has not had any notifications overnight.

Spoke to owners friend (contact number above who's coordinating). This boy is now very scared & is being spooked by people trying to grab him on main coastal road. He was seen near Hells Mouth Cafe (Staff aware & keeping eye out) but rang off through fields back towards Tehidy Woods / possibly along stream to it. If anyone sees him please please call number above so owner who's on the ground can come to try to reassure him, so he won't run off. Thank you

If he stays in the woods there are lots of streams and it is fairly cool owing to the depth of trees, I hope he will make his way through the fields back to the wood.
I will be out posting posters shortly.

Praps ordernance survey map or google earth of area last seen may show where there is water, I think he may try and find that in this heat. Praying he I safe soon.

Hi I am the owner,

up date on info:

Seen 22.30 on the North Cliff road headed toward Hayle, darted into a field when Dad called him & ran, lost sight of him in the dark. This is still about 6 miles from Hayle & he is now near the raod unless he takes the fields back toward the Country Park

Thanks ~ Sharon
