I live in Kidderminster. I will read the classifieds in tomorrow's Shuttle which is the local free paper. I also seem to remember a chihuahua being taken (and reunited thank goodness) from a garden near here a few months ago. It was posted on this site so perhaps the owner may have some useful advice for you if you could get in touch with them? Best of luck x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thought of being in touch with chihuahua.meetup.com - UK site? They've helped me a lot with emails, support and general awareness and help with posters. Lovely people who have a very, very keen eye for a chihuahua.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I do feel for you. I've been tracking a young black labrador called Max for the last 4 months with his owner. We arranged for five and a half thousand copies of a poster with details to be inserted into the local free paper, The Standard, as we hadn't had any sightings for ages. This did bring us some leads and hopefully, although we haven't got Max back yet, we are hot on his trail. Maybe you can do the same to cover the Bromsgrove area. If you can get the posters done this week and ring the distribution office at the Standard, they could be in the paper next week. The place that we had the posters done (cost 3p a copy - didnt charge VAT) was at a place next to the Advertisers office on Bromsgrove High St. I first rang the Standard to ask how many copies I would need to cover the areas that I wanted and they were able to give me an exact number. There is a charge for leaflets/posters to be put into papers, but again, they were very kind and charged us half price (about ?8 per thousand). It's worth a go. You get massive coverage in a short space of time. Good Luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I feel so sorry for you and your dogs. I really hope you find them very soon. Have you thought of putting up a reward that might be easier for the thieves to claim than the trouble of trying to sell them on? Balou (still missing) and I hope they're safe at home with you very soon, Lori xx PS People helped me by looking through the classifieds to try to find dogs like mine for sale. It's a lot of work, but perhaps you could divide it up and have one friend looking out on one site...Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
