thank you to everyone who has helped find billy. he is now home safe and sound was found in a garden this morning. this site is amazing and iam going to check all the time for other dogs going missing in my area:) x

Owner informed me of sighting at 4pm today around holders field and pointers way, I did a search of the area but did not see Billy, I did speak to a couple of dog owners and a friend of ours who lives in Pointers way, and asked them to hold on to Billy and contact me if seen.

Had contact with CP Services earlier today who were out helping and know the area very well with lots of contacts-thank you Karen! She said some posters had been taken down so very frustrating.

Thank you Lilybear, as always a tremendous help.
Hope Billy is back before I return on Wednesday, but I am a little confused if he is a rescue why he is not chipped?

Just spoke with Julie. Billy lives in Wilton, had been visiting area of Haywain, Amesbury on Thursday 18/07 when he ran out of an open door at address around 5pm. Billy is wearing a blue collar. In response to posters, there have been sightings of Billy today in area of London Road, Holders Field and Pointers Way area of Amesbury, the last sighting around 4pm today. The local Police NPT aware, will post a message on their FB page. Log 326-20/07.

He went from new house doesn't know the area his home is in Wilton salisbury. Been out looking today with another dog but no luck. Still no sightings and have put posters around in shops ect.

Julie, Did he go from the new house they were moving to or the old one? If the new one Billy might be trying to get back to the old one? In which case if no sightings, search should be concetrated in that general direction. If fromt he old house, search locally and areas that he knows and has positive associations with such as favourite walks. the power of the POSTER is an amazing tool. Everyone get as many up in the surrounding areas as you can.

Is he dog friendly or likely to go up to another dog Julie? Would it help to walk a dog around the area and see if he comes out to say hello?

thanks we were out looking for him all night last night. last spotted near tescos in amesbury. they were moving house someone left door open and he dashed out billy is a rescue dog not long had him very nervous and scared. really worried about him now as only 6 months old just want him home.

Any more details on this boy, where did he go missing from home or a walk? I will contact owner to see if they need any help searching.

I live in amesbury and walk my gsd alot in the area, will keep a look out and get poster up at work asap, hope he found soon.

Any chance we could know where abouts in Amesbury he is missing from as we live in the next village over (Durrington).
