Had a call earlier from Charlie's owner to tell me he had been found but was unable to access DL at the time to re-unite him. Will update with more details when I chat to him later- after he has picked up Charlie.

Thank you for all your help, Charlie has been found today in a climbing hut on Ben Nevis. I am on my way back to Scotland from the Lake District to collect him. He is said to be well.
Viv
any sightings or news of wee Charlie?

Thanks for all the advice, help and comments, everyone. Owner has been back to where he went missing from, but no sign of him.
Viv
where did you loose him? dogs will usually always come back to where they went lost. Local Police is 702361 have you let them know? Cafe Beag up Glen Nevis is 703601, should let them know in case the smell of food intices him and he hangs around.

Thank you for all your help, we're praying that Charlie is returned safely. We're trying to find a place to print out posters as we're on holiday and don't have a printer with us.
Viv
I live quite close and hubby works in Visitor Centre where most people park to start the walk up Ben Nevis so will make sure he tells the staff and puts up a poster on door and bridge they all cross. Also have a friend who regularly does a half ben with her dog (going tomorrow) so will ask her to keep an eye. Its very hot here so hope wee Charlie is ok. x oh have also shared on my facebook for locals to see.Last edited: 2013-07-21 09:48:22 by Viv

Thank you Joo. Very useful information. Have spoken to owner yesterday and given advice also.
Joo
Advise that his info is shared on www.walkhighlands.co.uk website. Presuming he was lost on Ben Nevis...is that correct...if so then posters at starts of walk...Ben Nevis Inn and Youth hostel advisable as well as information centre and shop in Glen Nevis....there will be masses of people walking up Ben Nevis in this good weather.
Ellie
Have emailed Travel Lite who do baggage transfer to walkers in that area. Do hope Charlie is found safely soon.
