This might be a huge long shot, but there is a border collie advertised for ?150 in tonight's Edinburgh local paper. It says 7 months old in the paper. I have the tel no, if owner thinks it is worth following up.

Ratho Village is on the outskirts of Edinburgh, very near the airport. There are quite a lot of fields etc, but these are all surrounded by very busy roads. Ask if posters can be put up in staff rooms of airport, also check out taxi companies, they are backwards and forwards to the airport all the time. Will keep a look out at my end. Im about 10 miles away. About 10 mins away from Ratho is the start of the M8 to Glasgow, M90 to Stirling and Central Scotland and M9 to Perthshire, so if he was stolen, they could have easily taken one of these routes, so everybody in Scotland needs to keep a look out for this boy. Hope he is home very soon. xx

Black & White male border collie found today in Rugeley and taken to Rosedene. A long way off but worth a check. Says approx 7 yrs old. On dogpages.org.

I live just outside glasgow so i'm not too near you but i've emailed the poster to a few of my friends that live in Edinburgh and ask them to email them on to their friends. Fingers crossed xxx
