- hmmmm kept the dog for FIVE WEEKS!!!? now....taking it to the pound...... i smell a fish.....

- By law the finder of any dog has to report it..this dog was not reported to warden until now..the dog goes to pound in the hope the genuine owner can be found..hence the doglost post to try and find owner..After 7 days the pound can rehome directly if they feel the dog can be rehomed..the dog can go to rescue if pound allows and there are places.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
