  • Other Info Tom was wearing a brown collar with his name written on it. He is very elderly and his front legs have a bowed appearance due to his arthritis.

Tom was found at 12.30 on 30th July 2013, after many sigtings around Blagdon Lake and Nemptnet, he was found sat on a dung heap at a nearby farm.
May I thank everybody who helped and supported us during the search, we are so pleased the old chap is home and in one piece.

Gill Ford who owns farm in Nempnett wrote- I don't want to raise your hopes but there has been a black lab round the Nempnett area today. Just been out to look for him but couldn't see him will look again in the morning. I'm afraid I didn't think too much about it as we have a village STUD which often hangs round!! Gutted I didn't see this earlier as could have put your mind at ease if it's him. fingers crossed

I know is abit of a distance from Blagdon but a black lab type dog was sighted today running on the dual carriageway in long well green, heading towards hanham/kingswood x

Good news about the sighting, are there plenty of posters up in the area? When seen again call him quietly and sit or crouch low coaxing him over just in case he panics.

Tom is missing from the Blagdon area of BS40, around the Bourne Lane/Lays Lane part of the village.
