Just to update everyone. Ridley was formerly adopted on Saturday by his new Mum Claire. He spent a few weeks in foster and finally we cracked his skin condition. He now has a lovely shiny, glossy coat with no bald patches or sore spots. He is very happy in his new home and loves his Mum to bits already. Thank you to everyone who supported Ridley. I have updated his pic and he can now be moved to the blue!

JD - thanks for the update (as I don't do Facebook) on this little lad and what a shame about the (hopefully small) setback re his allergy. I can only imagine that's why he came to be dumped in the first place and which, if correct, is absolutely unforgiveable. But how touching to hear that his lovely character is shining through. Thank you so much to everybody who has donated to Ridley. We had just cleared up his skin really well and then had a set back. His allergy has returned and he is just too sore to do skin scrapes on at the moment. Now on Piriton and a course of anti-b's to see if we can make him comfortable before undergoing further tests. Its been up and down with him but he continues to be the sweetest little man. Fingers crossed we can get his allergies under control. X

Hope Ridley is continuing to do well and being a good boy about having his ointment applied to his sores. Just to let you know that, as promised, I'm sending a cheque to you (wished it could be more) via post. Unfortunately I've missed today's collection (due to an unforeseen incident) but, rest assured, it will be on it's way tomorrow. Hoping that Ridley and all the other beauties in your care will find loving, new families, very soon. Thank you again for all you do!

Sharon beat me to it. Ridley is around five/six years old. His skin is clearing a little and he is not quite so itchy. Thank you for your good wishes.

Ridley is responding well to treatment and some tlc.He will be going for another vet appointment to see if anything else can be done.He will not be put to sleep..Pawprints are currently funding his treatment and hope to take him on as a rescue dog when his 7 days are over...if no space with Pawprints then we will find him alternative rescue space..Many thanks for all you good wishes for him

What a sweet little lad. Poor boy - how could anyone leave him tied up in such a state. What will happen to him? Please don't let him be PTS. Do you need any money towards his treatment? Is he now safe with Pawprints Dog Rescue? As Shereen has said, you can see from the photo what a loving little boy he is. What a gorgeous little face and waggy tail.
