- I was talking to a local lady who said she saw me being interviewed about the stolen chihuahua's and she asked if it really was a big problem or just hype - I spent at good 30 minutes explaining to her just how big a problem dog theft is and she was stunned. I hope this little baby if found soon - as he'll be really confused bless him xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Another staffy!!. Seems like there's an epidemic of staffy thefts at the moment. 90% of dogs lost/stolen aren't tagged or chipped. Personally i wouldn't have taken a puppy this young to the shops & left it outside but we can all say that with hindsight-it's something that most of us have done in the past. Maybe not with a puppy but with grown dog. I used to do it. It still doesn't give scum the right to steal a dog. Makes a change for police to be notifying members of theft. I'm too far away but I'm sure other helpers will poster & do all they can to get this little one returned. When it is-tag & chip& please don't leave outside shop again. - I think we're at cross purposes here staffy girl. I was talking about leaving dogs outside shops, not chipping. I think all dogs should be chipped by law. Really hope this baby is back very soon. SueLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- How awful poor baby I'm sure the owners are feeling terrible but the lay person does not understand the high risk of dog theft esepcially with Staffies it seems. I do hope they get their boy back very soon - must be a terrible time. RxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- did anyone else notice that the POLICE passed this information to DOGLOST, things are looking up, might not be perfect yet but definately an upturn in police helpfulness I think. Just hope this little boy is found and back home soon. Dolly 6.2.05Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- not sure i agree with you bugs on the chipping i am sorry to say, when i took my dog to the vets when he had his first jab ,the chipping information was all over ny vets wall. its times LIKE this i am afraid that we do realise how important an thankful we do have them chipped ,if the scum around did not take our dogs we would not have to have them chipped in the first place, but the nice people around that take our LOST dogs to the vets or police we have to be thankful for them too, but i am afraid we do not live in an ideal world, however as i stated i do hope these people to get there dogs back. lol staffy girlLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Really hope this baby is home very, very soon.xxxxxxxxxxxxx Unfortunately staffy girl people do this because they really don't realise the extent of dog theft. It's not until you come on to a site like this that you see that dogs are being stolen all the time and from different places. Sadly, it's a hard lesson to learn from. - cant believe this , i am really sorry these people have lost their dog , but 3 months outside a SUPERSTORE no tag or chip, you cannot do this leave a dog outside a shop , it really surprises me or is it just me, perhaps i am really ott with my dog especially staffs they are just too hot, i agree with most people it should be made compulsory for all dogs to be chipped, i know at the end of the day they can still be stolen etc but at least it gives the owners a chance to be reunited with their pets, we SHOULD be able to leave our dogs outside a shop or in our cars for 10 mins or so but i am afraid we do not live in an ideal world so we have to treat our pets like we would treat our kids, lets face it we would not leave our babies outside a shop or in a car would we, well i wouldnt but its not unheard of is it. lol staffy girl lets hope we get this pup back aye x x x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
