Great to wake up to find Mabel still here!
Thanks Kay - I think she must have smelled sausages cooking in your kitchen as we found her in Long Wood between Latimer and Flaunden!
Off to the vets to get her checked out soon as she is limping on her front legs but that is probably because she has walked her paws raw!
Thankyou again to everybody for your help - we feel are so very grateful for all your help and kindness x
Pgee
Great news up early to go look again.Glad I told you about Dogs Lost on Sunday .i can only guess how you are all feeling.x Paula and Alfie the boxer x

Great news to wake up to! I'm so happy that Mabel's back home - big hugs and cuddles from me please. x

I'm able to go out tomorrow morning for a couple of hours to look for Mabel. Looking at the map, I might try Woodman's Wood and Lower Plantation wood with some warm sausages - but I can't see where I would park and if there are footpaths through the woods. Anyone know if they're private property - or any other suggestions of where I could search?
Justine
Thanks Shereen - we were out at 5am but sadly last sighting of her was 9pm and she fled from the person who saw her!
If anybody sees her please be aware that she is really frightened by her experience and the best way to get her is to coax her by throwing treats then stroking her to get a grip on the collar,
se likes to be picked up by the family but she HATES cars so she will need picking up to be placed in a car.
Thankyou Pgee and all in Chipperfield and Sarratt for your help and kindness - it is keeping us both going

The best time you can get out there is right now Mabel Rose, just as its getting light.she will be there somewhere close to where she went missing and doing a triangular circuit 2-3 mile radius id say...probably be worth sitting in the spot she went missing for 2-3 hours, with some nice tasty food.
Justine
The latest sighting that somebody has notified of Mabel is currently around 5pm at Sarratt on Bottom Lane the Red Lion Lane and Deadman's Ash.
Another possible sighting is Chandler's Cross although not certain of the time or if it was definitely her.
Please help us with any information

A Facebook friend of mine thought she saw her earlier today and was asking me whether she was wearing a red collar? If so, she might have seen her running along the road approx 1pm, unfortunately she ran down a gravel drive towards Bucks Hill from Chipperfield Common. She tried following her in her car warning motorists along the road but lost sight of her. She thought she was a local dog.

I live in Chipperfield and have 'shared' Mabel Rose's missing details on Facebook. I do hope you can find her safely very soon.
Kay
Sorry that Mabel Rose has wandered off. I'll go for a drive around Latimer now with some smelly food.

OK, back now, no sign around Latimer, but spoke to a few people who will keep a look out.
Is this the Mabel who is walked around Chesham Bois? If so, I fussed her a few days ago. Where does she live? Where in Flaunden was she lost, and did you see what direction she went in?

I've left dog food at the end of the drive in case it is the Mabel who walks down this road, and she makes it back to somewhere familiar. Last edited: 2013-07-28 19:45:08 by Kay
