- Went to Hambledon this afternoon. Searched the fields close to the church and walked the footpaths from there around in a circle up towards Hydon Ball. Although large dog prints were in the fields we were able to determine that they were from a local dogwalker we met with a big setter. there were no dog prints the size of a Mastiff in the fields or the footpaths up near the church area. We stopped and spoke to 3 horse riders and a number of dog walkers to make sure they were all aware Honey was missing and to keep a watch out. One chap said to be sure that you contacted both the Waverley and the Guildford dog wardens as he said they will send dogs to the other kennels if busy. I have no printer ink at the moment, it is on order but won't be here until the end of the week so can't print posters. I didn't see any posters up at all so if anyone in the area could print some and get them out it would help. We drove around the lanes near Enton/wormley etc and stopped to look over various fields and called and whistled, but thre are lots of areas she could be in and not spotted. The wheat is ripening and standing high and there are lots of wheat fields in the area as well as lots of scrub land. Can you contact Godalming Angling society as they will have various contacts with the Enton lakes and different fisheries that are in the area and if you could find contacts for that big golf club.
