Hi, sorry update took so long, had a few technical problems! We're delighted to get her back, she was very thin and has a sore knee from being dumped I think. I'm convinced the large amount of publicity that was created and the huge amount of support that generated was a major contribution in getting her back. I now realise the power that social media and websites like this have, it is truly awesome! We've had nothing but amazing kindness shown to us and are truly thankful for everyone's efforts. This has been a real eye-opening experience for us and we see the great British bulldog spirit is very much alive when it comes to people messing with our pets!

Have sent email advice .. reply from owner says Tosca was taken from the garden which had a secure gate. Was opened and Tosca gone. Police not being helpful. Have advised to poster to make Tosca too hot to handle and to inform all vets, rescue centres etc and dog wardens in surrounding areas in case tosca is abandoned. Also to check with them very regularly as Tosca has no microchip & the 7 day rule will probably apply. Have only just posted this as having computer probs (using friends to do this).. sorry!

Were there any vehicles suspicious people seen around the time this lovely dog was stolen ? I have shared onto Uckfield FM facebook page in the hope they will announce on their radio. Have vets in the area been contacted ? J. x
