Absolutely delighted Archie found his way home. What a clever boy! Lots of tlc and I am sure he will be fine. He reminds me so much of my little wire hair. They are so adventurous and get into all sorts of situations but a delight to own. Really pleased he is back.

could he have made his way over to the reservoir? We walk there most days and we have spotted deer in the last few days. He may have picked up their scent. Might be an idea to talk to the local farmers around you. If they
know he is missing they may be more forgiving if they see him wandering in their fields where the sheep are. I've posted this to Old Stone Vets and High Pennine pet foods facebook pages. Would be able to come out on a search for him and I live very locally to you.

Hi twinks, thanks for the advice. My mum knows Donna at Morgans Rescue very well so she has told her to keep an eye out for him. The area is very rural and my mum thinks he has gone down to the river but we have had a few people walk along the river bank and look in the fields immediately adjacent and there has been no sign. We just hope someone has taken him in too.

Hi twinks, we tried to take the other dog out to try and retrace the route but she has been strangely reluctant to go out ever since this has happened. We think she must have been spooked by something when the incident with Archie happened?

Thanks Jayne for the helper alerts!
