Well done timmys mummy I would do that too , I can't help thinking about this poor dog which must be local to jennyg so if she sees it loose again just dogknap it I would and I would love it forever , I fact I would go looking for it , it's obviously tied up outside and gets the odd kick or 2 , I fully expect to be pinked now or reported xxxx

P.S. This comment might be removed but I'll give it a go. Debbie if you ever find out where the dog is let me know and I will go and get her. I once climbed over a wall and got a Cocker Spaniel that was almost frozen to death. We had to put her in bed with us to warm her up. It was minus 12 degrees outside in the snow! The next day I took her to a wonderful home in another county. Why did I do this? Because the RSPCA didn't want to know! xx

Oh dear! Lets hope that someone in authority keeps an eye on this poor doggie. Surely if a dog is being ill treated it should not be returned to the owner? Also, shouldn't they dog warden have informed the RSPCA that the dog was in poor condition and full of fleas? Last edited: 2013-08-09 20:09:34 by Timmy's Mummy

Poor little girl, she sounds like she has had a rough deal and I don't expect the warden could give you any information as their hands are tied, and they have to give the dog back, you couldn't have done anymore, especially as you had to report her to the dog warden by law.
I would keep a eye out for her though, as if she escaped she might do so again, our BC had a horrible owner and would escape and come running to us every time he eventually gave up and gave her to us

My daughter and I found her walking along the middle of the road. We took her home with us and called the dog warden the next day (Monday). That evening we wished that we had kept her - she was very unhappy going with the dog warden. She flinched every time we went to pet her, she had orange string around her neck and she was covered in fleas. I spoke to the dog warden today and was told that she has been claimed. I only hope her owner will look after her as I have a very distraught daughter on my hands
