Hi all, just to let you know. We contacted Camden dog Warden who was familiar with this dog who had run away 6 times before. The owner said she could no longer look after him so we have given him a loving home. He is adored. Xx

Can you possibly email in to DogLost Admin and we'll see if we can check the owners via Petlog etc. We can sometimes help a bit there. Also, do not simply give the dog back to them as you need to make sure all is okay with the dog and them first - sometimes the chip is not to the current owner and dog may not want to go back. I am sure, you would be able to keep him if real owners did not want him back. The dog warden needs to know and he/she can work with you on that. But let's see if he has a loving family already, first of all. Well done for rescuing this sweet boy. x (Re the black snout i.e. Teddy - sometimes the light on photos make things look different than they are). Need to check. x

I have taken him to the vet and he is chipped but can't get hold of the owners (not sure why they aren't answering their phone. On holiday?. He is now at vets. I would like to keep him if they don't respond. He is a Pomeranian.

He hasn't got a black snout or a white patch. He is golden all over. I believe he is a German Spitz.
