- I just looked and he is still at Babbington Dog Rescue . There is a picture of him explaining that he had mange when he first arrived there which is why his coat looks bad but is getting better with treatment. He certainly looks a lot better than when he was first found. Hoping he gets a lovely forever home soon.

- Chase has now gone to Babbington Dog Rescue in Nottingham where they will keep up with his treatment. He was a lot brighter when I went to collect him from the pound. Xx

- Well done Glenda and thanks for the update. I've added the photo of him having a mooch on the grass but change it if you want. What a shame the pound won't release him early but at least he has a comfy bed now and it gives you a few days to sort somewhere out for him to go. Last edited: 2013-08-14 10:43:11 by B30

- I am not on facebook but want to keep up with Chase. How can I keep informed after friday? He has a special place in my heart.
- 2013-08-13 20:54 Bella
- I have taken Chase to the vets today. They did a skin scrape but there was nothing conclusive. He has been put on antibiotics for 3 weeks, had flea treatment and has got to have a bath twice a week for the next 4 weeks. I couldn't take him back to the pound without giving him his first bath. Unfortunately it wasn't anything like a poodle parlour but a bucket on my drive. He does now smell sweeter and had a nice comfy bed when he went back into the pound. I will try and put a better picture on here, but you can see him on my profile on facebook or on Pawprints page. He can come out of the pound on Friday. I am sorting rescue details out at the moment.

- I've commented on Alfie's lost dog page, it says he's black & tan, but worth ruling out.
- 2013-08-12 12:33 Vizsla55
- Heartbreaking looking at this little fella, hope he is receiving vet treatment and made more comfortable. Praying he gets another chance with a lovely family and he gets to know what love and kindness is. Please up date so we know he is ok. Thinking off you sweet boy. xx

- They could have at least given this poor poor doggie a vet bed blanket and just wash it each day. If they don't have one let me know and I will send them the money to get a couple of blankets. They should be ASHAMED! It costs next to nothing to make a starving mangey dog comfortable. I have a good mind to phone the RSPCA!! I will probably be pinked out now but I don't care as I just needed to speak up for this little orphan doggie.

- I have a boot full of shredded paper that I will happily drop off at the pound for bedding if they are worried it's mange :( I'll also pay for Advocate or Aludex if finances are an issue. It's pretty clear no-one is going to claim this poor boy; does he have a rescue place when his time is up?
- 2013-08-11 23:37 Sharon Wormald
- Im totally horrified at the state of this poor dog :-(..Hoping he will go back to the vets asap..im also discusted with the lack of comfort provided by the pound for him...i know the condition could be contagious but!!Good luck little boy...hope you can be sorted out and feel more comfortable soon x
