- Message from Star's owner along with a reunited photo.
Star is getting better day by day. She is very clingy which is unlike how she used to be, she has put weight on and her inner ear infection is getting better and her balance/wobbliness is a lot better as well. She was at the vets for 3 days when she was first found and has improved loads since being home. We're so happy to have her back and we know being chipped played a huge part in her return as she was so poorly vets may have put her down if they couldn't contact owners. - 2013-10-01 20:36 Unknown

- So pleased to hear that this beautiful pussy cat is back home and hope it won't be long until she is back to her normal self. But I also wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the kind, caring gentleman who has been feeding her and gaining her trust and which finally paid off! I bet Star's owners are absolutely over the moon - thank goodness she was chipped. But finally welcome home Star and please stay close to home in future.

- Just received an update from Star's owner. Star was rescued by a gentleman on Old Shoreham Road, he had been feeding her and trying to catch her since Wednesday and on Saturday she was so poorly that she let him. She is very poorly and still at the vets receiving treatment but has improved a little and recognised her owners. It seems another few days on the run and she may not have survived. Hopefully she will be able to go home in the next couple of days. Thank goodness she was microchipped enabling the vets to make contact with her owner.

- Wonderful news. You were a long time missing Star. No wonder these cats are known as "The Naughty Torties"; by vets too. Stay safe now Star:-) :-) :-)xxx PS Someone else has probably been feeding her.

- Brilliant news. I know the owner did everything she could to find Star, if only they could talk.

- Owner has put up 100's of posters and had an article printed in a Shoreham newspaper but still there has been no news of little Star.

- Paws, and fingers xd for the safe return of Star. As she is spayed she is probably not too far away. Leave her scent on a blenket, then leave outside if dry, or cook some food say fish or chicken, as this may te,pt her back. Good luck
