The Cotswold Show is at Cirencester Park (Glos) on the 7th and 8th of July and there are many BACS gundog events on both days so lots of Springers will be there, so could be well worth a visit.

FOUND . English Springer Spaniel A liver and white Springer Spaniel was found on the A415 road at Kingston Bagpuize on Sunday 17th September. He is an entire male and not docked. We think he is about 2 years old, but he could be older. He seems fit and well and is wearing a black leather collar. He has liver and white markings to his face but his body is predominantly white. He has a noticable dip to his back and has obviously been trained as he is sociable and sits when asked. We believe that he may have been stolen from someone at some point as he was seen to be dumped onto the side of the road by people in a blue people carrier. The police have been contacted and we will contact the local dog warden tomorrow to check if he has been micro-chipped. LOSTYOURPET.NET HAS THIS DOG. X

Liver and White Springer male on found pages today - found in Cumbria and says looks like hes been out a while, very friendly - they guessed about 8 years but sometimes can't tell with springers - worth checking x

Its a bit of a long shot, but try my mate Gordon at Aspen Valley Kennels on 01254 233702- he is the most helpful chap and will do every thing he can to help. He is based in Blackburn but takes in dogs from the whole of Lancashire... Hope there is good news soon x x x

There is a Springer in the found section - I'm probably clutching at straws as it says black and white but it does say young male - now at Rosedene maybe worth a check? Come home Alfie XXX

What a handsome man. Have posted Alfie's details on my forum Find Missing Dogs (http://findmissingdogs.proboards67.com/index.cgi). Bess the Border Terrier is missing from Preston too so maybe the owners could search together etc. It says Alfie's is not microchipped when he is.

I have emailed Alfies poster to the rescue centres in the Lancashire area including The RSPCA X 3 branches.You may want to contact them(yellow pages),also contact your local dog warden,and all local vets.I really hope Alfie is found soonxxx
