- Murphy vanished from his owners property and it's is thought he may have escaped when he heard shooting on a neighbouring farm as although not a working dog he does tend to be excited by loud noises.
3 men with a black 4x4 had been shooting today on the neighbours farm and his owners are concerned that Murphy could have run over to them and that they may have picked him up or he may have bolted away due to the gun shots.
Murphy is microchipped and Petlog have been informed and have him flagged up as missing on their system.
The dogwarden and local stray kennels have also been informed amd some postering has been done with more to follow and media coverage will be sought to raise the maximum public awareness possible.
Anyone finding a dog is required by law to report this to the local dog warden.
Really hoping Murphy is found very soon x
