That is so incredible!, Just goes to show how far away from home a dog can end up. Hope this gives other owners hope.
Make that call if you think it looks like a missing dog, no matter how far away it might be. Well done to all involved.

*** REUNITED *** SUN 06.07.14 at Leigh Cats & Dogs Home WN7 went MISSING 06.01.13 WALES SY13 Border/Lakeland Terrier Cross Female. Missing along with TESS a black female Patterdale.

The past 24 hrs have been a world wind of events and nail biting time for us all. But is has paid of with a great result.

THANKS A MILLION to LCDH for holding off on the REHOME which should have been SAT 04.01.14. BUMBLE was seen on their FOUND/REHOMING site. MANY THANKS also to EVERYONE who helped and supported Niki and made this REUNION possible, BRILLIANT start the 2014. BUMBLE has now been CHIPPED and will be getting TATTOOED a.s.a.p. Special THANKS to Niki’s good Samaritan neighbour for transporting Niki to LCDH you are a STAR. Hugs and kisses to the gorgeous BUMBLE and it was the greatest of pleasure to meet you all at LCDH. Fab picture which includes myself, Niki a lovely staff member from LCDH and the one and only BUMBLE. xxx

Yes it is Leigh Cats & Dogs Home. They did have another one in there last week which Niki had seen but only seen the one there now last night. x

A NW helper has been into LCDH and taken loads of photo/s which has really helped. THANK YOU to everyone who is helping/supporting Niki. Nail biting time now waiting for Niki to actually see the found girl. We are so rooting for it to be BUMBLE. xxx

Spoken to Niki who has sorted a lift out for tomorrow and I am lasing with LCDH again. I posted the pic earlier on NW fb group for Niki to see.

The FOUND has a reserve to be picked up today, LCDH are going to hold off it going and give Niki time to view the dog but it must be first thing in the morning when they open.

Fingers crossed it is her. Good luck Niki. x

Niki has seen a dog on LCDH website up for REHOMING and says it maybe BUMBLE.

I've spoken to LCDH and they have said the dog they have is not a full Border Terrier. Niki is hoping to go and view it tomorrow. x

Have finally heard back from rspca with definitive answer- they do not have bumble so after a ruddy good cry its back to the drawing board and keep looking!!

Niki, glad you were at least able to rule out the found dog, which we now think is male anyway. It might be worth adding a detailed description on Bumble and Tess, markings etc. to help people match from any 'founds' they see elsewhere. Wishing you all the very best and pray you get them back home safe soon. x

Please see Found 56851. This dog was found very dirty and thin at Colliford Lake,nr Bodmin, with a blue collar and black lead still attached. The police did a search of the area, found nothing and have no missing person reports. It was picked up by a kennels (out of hours) from Launceston Police Station, who seem to think it went to RSPCA Longdown (Exeter). I tried RSPCA Little Valley Kennels near Longdown who say they don't take strays. The Dog Warden Devon say Launceston is Cornwall so would not come to Devon. The Cornwall Dog Warden will not give any information, even the sex, of the dog to anyone other than the owner. So the only option is to post this to all Border types lost. PLEASE register as lost with the Dog Wardens (and remember they have it listed as a Border Terrier) for them to release details of where it is. Cornwall DW 0300 1234 212. East Devon DW 0845 241 7253.
