Hi,
Thanks all for your help. We found Chip tonight. Unfortunately he is deceased. He was under a bush only 100 yards from the house. Not nice but at least we have him back with us and he will be in our memories forever....not as a mystery.
Thanks again.

Caz,
Checked the MK14 dog today...again not ours. This is why I say that it would be good to see photo's for the 'found' dogs...But they don't allow it. AW say it's to stop the wrong people seeing the dogs and claiming they own them. Thanks for the tip.

Checked this one but to no avail. Today there is another with the same description in MK6 but this one was a different cross breed. I really don't understand why they do not allow photo's like this site. It would save so much hassle.

Thanks you for your efforts in helping

Caz, Thanks for your help. We were driving around the park tonight until dark speaking with people. Some new of our plight and others didn't. Posters have been up there since Tuesday. We have door knocked our local neighbours and asked them to have a good look round. We do visit Forest Lodge as I agree a phone call is not enough (I actually find them a bit short on the phone, so I only trust my own eyes).
Thanks again.
Caz
driven slowly around area this morning, Spoke to couple people staying at holiday park, they were not aware of Dog missing in area. Have posters been put up in the holiday park? he could have followed someone up there! also along routes to the Primary school etc, I only saw 1 poster on a telegraph pole, the area needs to be flooded with them so visitors are aware. are you visiting Forest Lodge daily to check for yourselves he is not there, don't rely on phone calls to them mistakes have been made in the past! You say he struggles to walk to far, did any neighbours go away that weekend? could he have sneaked into their garage or house as they were loading the car & got shut in? have you asked your neighbours to check behind their sheds, under the decking, have they got swimming pools or hot tubs with soft covers? all avenues need checking to rule them out.
Di
Oh - I so feel for you (I have one that looks just like Chip, so will remember him whilst I look at all the found doggies).
Let's hope he's home soon - stay strong x

Hi,
Thanks for looking out for Chip. The dog in HP27 is unfortunately not ours. We have also been looking further afield as we feel, due to his age (16) and the fact that for him to walk 20 yards was a push, we feel that he was in fact taken by someone. So once they realised that they had an old dog they may have dumped him.....This is killing us.

Thanks allLast edited: 2013-08-28 21:19:00 by aobeirne1

Bit of a long shot, but worth ruling out with a quick look-see at the photos ...
A little way away (HP27), and found dog looks a bit younger & described as "CHIHUAHUA, MALE, TAN WITH WHITE NECK AND TOES, RED COLLAR NO TAG, NO MICROCHIP"
