Been following the one picked up in Andale which a few staff have confirmed it was BUTCH. I've spoken to Andale staff also the AW's.

Tried to contact Butch's owner a few times and he has not got back. The AW's have now REHOMED Butch.

Not long finished speaking to the Animal Wardens and got some updates. Many thanks to the AW's for their assistance today.

Re the found (AW Ref 313524 details further down the thread) they do not think is BUTCH as description says Brindle. Also they could not also find any missing details for BUTCH!! AW's are going to double check there are no matches in the kennels.

The GSD sighted being picked up in WA7 (posted below are duplicated on the AW site and also registered on DL 56698) has been confirmed by AW's as not BUTCH it is a full GSD and still in the kennels.

Ashlou90 could we please have an update a.s.a.p. as lots of people are looking out for him.

Thanks mosspage and ClaireBearG, the details below are the one registered on DL as SIGHTED ID 56698 which the helper who seen it getting picked up contacted myself and I advised she register the details. The one picked up was not BUTCH.

Looks like the AW details for the found maybe duplicated.

Not had an update yet from BUTCH's owner re the one handed into Andale Vets (who did ID that it was BUTCH). Will post more when made contact with owner again. xxx

Thanks Carole for checking, I have asked the helper who seen the found to double check it was not Butch. I have been waiting for an update on Butch as he has been reported as having been handed into Andale Vets and the person who alerted us to this has also seen his photo and said it was him, see comments further down.

Rang the AW's for updates on Butch and also the sighted GSD of which there are two registered found details on their site. Up to now have not been able to get an answer. x

Just had a message to say he BUTCH was picked up on Friday about 4.00pm by the Dog Warden from ANDALE VETS. Have passed the update onto Ash and owner. We have had a good few dogs reunited that have ended up in Andale Vets. THANKS a MILLION for the alert and family will follow it up tomorrow. xx

I've updated his photo and details. Changed his breed from Border Collie to Collie Cross. He could be described as a GSD x Collie or Crossbreed I've advised owner to check any of these breeds out and ask if any have been found when ringing around.

Spoken to owner and Ashlou90 a few times tonight and also advised they ask the AW's to follow the found one up and see if finder can clarify it was not Butch that they had.

I'll start sharing his photo and details. Info/Advice emailed to family. x

I've spoken to the AW's they said when they went to pick the dog up the finder said he was reunited with his owner. x
