- She is a very friendly dog. No one should have any worries about approaching her. She loves children and other dogs too and is a very sadly missed family pet.

- Thank you all for your advice and good wishes. Maggie May went missing on a walk around Shirley Oaks Village Estate. She was on her extension lead and just bolted and ran off into the woods.

- I’ve found that it helps to print out an A4 sheet of paper cut into business-card size slips, each with brief details and your phone number on. Give them to all the local dog walkers, postmen etc. you meet. Then if someone has news when they’re out and about they don’t need to find a poster or log on to the site to contact you. Would be useful to know whereabouts she went missing, as Ellejay says. Glad she's tagged and chipped, that can only help to bring her home more quickly. Hope she's home soon.

- Email sent with advice plus suggesting check any found large white breed in case listed down in correctly. Very similar to a short haired GSD
