Just wanted to say well done to Kelly DW and the rescue owner for taking the time to look after this lovely girl. She looks so sad. Hope she finds a loving home.

Hi all,
I visited her yesterday in the hope of winning her around, which I did. Managed to get her to take treats off me at her kennel door which is a really good step forward for her. The rescue owner has been in with her and taken their GSD in to meet her who she loves. The rescue owner knews of 2 possible people who take on GSD's displaying this sort of behaviour so everything is looking good for her.

Janiejewel1649 it can be done providing the person who takes the dog on is willing to put the effort in and take things at the dogs pace. It's not easy but well worth the effort and so rewarding. Considering we had never even owned a dog before we have found all our hard work very rewarding and when the time comes to take on a new dog we will certainly be going for another GSD who isn't the "normal well behaved, trained and easy to rehome" dog x

Nikki I read your posting with great interest; it can be done then? I know of a person who owns a collie (Male) although good with people was extrememly aggressive towards other dogs, and terrorized them, but with patience, and training they have "Turned him round" He now loves playing with other dogs:-)

Hi could you take a look at Lost 42629 ? The photo isn't awfully clear but she seems to have the same marking by her left eye. She would be around 16 months old now. She was stolen and may not have the chip in now. Thanks x

Poor baby. When we rescued our GSD he had been badly treated and also showed signs of nervous aggression. we sought help from a local rescue who although they offered us good advice did say that if he had of been handed into them then they would of had no choice but to put him down. We have now had our monster for 2 years and it was the best decision we ever made saving him from both a life of cruelty and allowing him to continue living out his days in a home where he is greatly loved. I hope this girl gets the same opportunity. If I didn't have my monster I'd seriously consider giving her her forever home. Every dog deserves a second chance and it is so rewarding working to overcome their negative behaviours. Good luck little one x x

duffy54 You could be right she may have been ill treated by her owners, or suffering from kennel stress, and this may be why she is showing signs of aggression. You never know some kind, caring animal behavourist would like to assess her? Or perhaps someone who has had experience with the breed, may want to rehome hner. Keep us posted

Poor girlie, hope someone takes her in, owners might of been cruel to her xx
