- Other Info Pirate has no road sense and we are extremely worried for his safety. We returned from holiday this evening (sat 31st Aug) to find out that Pirate had out witted the dog sitter and made his escape when sitter answered front door. Me and my children are devastated :( . - Thank you everyone for all your help, in particular to Pat who gladly accepted my phone call at a daft hr of the night as I had wrongly assumed txt was sent from dog warden! Pirate is now the lucky (or unlucky if you ask him, lol) owner of a collar and name tag as I have learnt my lesson in just relying on his micro chip. Children were delighted when he was returned home yesterday and I must say I was very elated. Thank you to the gentleman that managed to catch and keep him safe for us on Sat evening. xxx
