- Well done because this means you have got word out! People are looking and helping you! You must get a CRIME number from police not an incident number. The crime number should start with CRN. If you have any difficulty, let us know. The most important thing you can now do, wherever Rolo is, is to poster like mad! Get as much publicity as you can - call the papers and tell them he's been seen outside a shop being offered for sale. Tell the shop! Ask them to put posters up for you on their noticeboard as it was their shop! Put them outside in the car park. Stand outside and hand small leaflets out. Wear a big poster while you do it! Call the local radio - they may not help, but they may. Anything is worth a try! Now, if Rolo has been sold on, the new "owners" should recognise his poster and call you! Decent people would do that. If dodgy people have him you just make him too hot to handle! You can do this! Really! Let's go get your boy home! x
Kazza, you are fab doing posers! I'd say YES definitely distribute them. The police may not have much to go on unless we keep getting word out. As a thought, who would use a dog to make money? Maybe the police know of drug users or local petty crims? Poster all the pubs! Dogs are often sold in pubs and people remember dogs in pubs. x - 2013-09-04 18:47 Kazza
- I am keeping everything crossed for you. Please let me know if you want the posters and whether you want me to print more. I hope Rolo is back home safe and with his loving family soon. He is such a gorgeous boy. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Sending positive thoughts to you. Xx

- The search for Rolo has taken a different turn, as last night someone mentioned they had seen a dog like Rolo being sold outside a local supermarket, so today we are going to the police to register Rolo as stolen. Hopefully have some better news later. Thank you all for your help so far, it is really appreciated by all the family concerned.

- So sorry to hear this gorgeous boy is missing. I live 10 minutes away and have printed 30 posters if Rolo's family want them. If there is an organised search please let me know. I work but would be more than happy to join in if I can. Have the local papers been contacted? Come on Rolo's, let's get you home. X

- Sorry to see that ROLO STOLEN is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (56822)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
