I am so terribly sad to hear this. I am sure she would have gone to heaven quickly and peacefully as she was close by. She is found and no longer lost, so she can rest peacefully in heaven whilst she watches over her loving owners, till they are together once more. God bless you sweetheart & your loving owners, always. x

DogLostJayne - Founder Doglost.
It would be a good idea as suggested in earlier post that posters are put up further afield as some one may have picked her up...most people who pick up dogs are in cars...its rare for no sightings especially with a Boxer.

I too met owners earlier in the week searching with their other dog. They live local to the woods in Ruislip (Park Wood). Lily would have had to have run a hell of a long way to get to Windsor!! Any reason to think she has been seen there or been taken there??
Teddys Mum - Area Volunteer, West London
Ooo that last comment has confused me. When I spoke to the owner she gave me her address which is very close to Park woods. I have been walking the woods daily and still no sightings. Most people are aware that she is missing.
Shereen
Email in Admin from owner..."Hi

Is it possible to place some posters in Windsor. I live near there but don’t
know any dog walking places other than Great Windsor Park

Regards

Is there anyone local who can help with posters in the surrounding areas?

She could have covered quite a distance if chasing a deer, and then maybe got herself lost with so much foliage etc. Also, possible she got kicked by deer, so she could be lying low for a bit till she fels better, or may even have concussion in which case she may sleep for a couple of days and then resurface. You are doing really well out there! Keep going. Eventually answers do usually come to light so keep spreading the word and well done with posters! If woods have roads around, remember to call council AND Highways Agency (council will give you number) just to make sure no one has seen dog on roads and any houses/farms/properties around woods when she could have been taken in? Do keep searching, maybe a search party to go from end to other in a line like the police do? If you can gather enough people or even a handful, let us know and we can bump Lily's page up to ask for more helpers in search. Also do the scenting as Steph would have advised at the place lost as they do come back there if they can. Preferably also leave a blanket or something there from home, slightly hidden, so she can lie on it if returns. Not my area, but I just wanted to leave a post for you. Come on Lily girl, lets find you. x

I bumped into Kelly, in the woods, last night out looking for Lily. Good to be able to have a long chat. There have been no sightings at all which is worrying. It is very thick undergrowth where Lily disappeared from probably chasing munjack. Will be back in to the woods shortly.

I walked for two hours last night in the area where lily went missing, Saw nothing I am afraid. But even after dark there were some walkers and dog walkers. So chatted to all of them. I took my 1000.000 candle torch. Excellent. Kelly if you get one, you could shine it into the undergrowth and might just pick up a pair of eyes glinting. Also, go to Jacks stables as dogs are often attracted there sleeping and foraging for food. I shall do the same this evening.

Walked my dog Ollie for about an hour this afternoon in Park woods went to the crossroads which I assume is the path that goes from Broadwood straight up over little bridge then branches right to Fore Street and left Bury Street looked in undergrowth off the paths then around in a circle up the wide grassy bit looked around the pond no sign im afraid. Word is getting around will keep searching she must be somewhere. Sian/Ollie

Hi again - have driven and walked the area on the way home from work - no sign, but accosted all runners and locals, driving instructions too. All aware now and some took photos of your poster to have the number on their phone with them.

I have just cross posted on our missing dog, Roxy's page (dog 48676), with Lily's details too and the link. We have 80 followers and quite a few views since she's been gone. Hopefully this will get more and more lovely dog people looking and searching.

Won't stop looking and sharing on FB, Twitter until she is home. xxx

Kelly. Everyone I have spoken to is aware of Lily. Have you posterd the entrance that you usually use. Which entrance was it? She may well be returning there looking for you or car. Dogs usually appear at dusk and dawn. I am in Fore st. and am driving around also. Just off to the woods now. Is the crossroad you mention the one that leads to the lido in one direction and Salisbury rd entrance in the other direction? Have you informed Jacks riding stables?

Hi
Lily was last seen in the middle of the woods at the crossroads, we were walking 2 dogs at the time, 1 returned and lily didnt.
searched high and low for hours covering the whole woods.
lily liked to go in all the undergrowth mainly where there were deer to chase.
posters have been put up inside the woods and on every entrance.
We have informed the dog warden, uxbridge police, vets, and generally just trying to get the word around, if anyone can spread the word, or even put up any posters ..im happy for my phone number to be used on posters.
Thank you all for the kind support, everyone has been so kind and given up lots of time to help find her, and this is very much appreciated.
I will post any more news once i know of any..xxx

Hi - have walked and driven for an hour this morning, saw your posters up, in the woods and nearby. Have been round the playing fields, cafe, woods and driven local roads. Please let me know if you need more posters printing and dropping off. Whilst looking for our missing Roxy, we also gave posters to the local milkmen, postmen, police cars, dustmen, council workers cutting the grass etc. Anyone that is out and about all day in the area. You will obviously cover the vets and local shops, but Pubs are also really helpful, I'll send a poster in to Ducks Hill Garden Centre too. The Pub at Ruislip Lido and the entrances to the Lido. If you need help postering please give me a shout. Good Luck xx
