- Peggy had been with her owner working fields Bushton area. She was let off for a comfort break and likely started to head for home a couple of miles away, following the scent of the tractor wheels along the lanes. A reliable source has reported seeing a female in a silver vehicle (possibly a pick up or 4 x 4) stop and pick Peggy up in the village of Bushton, it is hoped with all good intent – where did she take her? Hoping for a direction of travel. Locals all know Peggy, they have been busy searching, putting up posters. Owner looking to poster surrounding towns, villages, vets etc. He will ring Swindon Dog Warden, Bath Cats & Dogs Home etc. Will consider an appeal with local media. He has spoken again with Police, Peggy has not been reported as found to them.

- I have been told Peggy was seen in Bushton at approx 1pm on the 2nd of September, someone unknown had stopped in a silver truck/van and picked her up and appeared to be looking for a tag on her collar. Peggy is very precious to me, if you were this person or know of her whereabouts please get in touch.
Thanks Steve. - 2013-09-03 23:13 Em
- The road from WB to Bushton is called Breach Lane, so I am assuming that is the road being referred to. Hopefully the owner will be able to confirm soon
