A possible at Chichester Dog Warden(don't know the breed type). I have emailed a link and photo to the owner today just in case.

If you think you may have this dog, can you please ring the owner (Mac) on 01733 203280? This is not my dog, I have never seen him, so you really need to speak to the owner. I just put the details on here for him as he doesn't have a computer.

Sadly the found Lurcher is NOT a match for the stolen dog from Whittlesey

Not sure if the finder has called the owner yet as this was reported on facebook so I haven't a contact number for the finder.

There is a dog on "strayaid" that they say is cream,found 30/9, male, found Bishop Auckland but may be worth a look as yours is a stolen dog. Breed not stated but I think it's a lurcher.

Hi please could the owner contact wood green animal shelter on 0844 248 8181 tomorrow (open from 10am, may be able to get through earlier). A friend of mine has just shown me pictures of a dog her friend found in south Cambs and took to wood green-looks very like this lurcher, so well worth checking.

It might be worth contacting Lincolnshire Police as they have launched Operation Galileo covering Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk to crack down on hare coursing and the season has just started.

LOST ID 56753 and 56756 stolen pugs and bulldogs from PE7, some recovered by Police, and you aren't a million miles away, may be worth a look. I think I can remember some months ago a white van with ladders on top being involved in dog theft in the Peterborugh area, somebody else may be able to recall this. Beautiful dog, hope you get him back from the thieving !!!!!!!!. Lost ID 42840 is a dog theft warning issued by police about dog theft in PE postcodes there may be some useful information on there.

I have spoken to the owner and advised him to contact the Dog Warden and local vets in the area, the police have been notified and the owner has a CRN.
I will E-mail general information including contact numbers for vets in the area.
