- Hi everyone who has seen my poster about Izzy and thank you to all who have been so caring and supportive and understand the bond and attachment with your dog and how devastating it is to lose them and worry about their safety and whether you will ever see them again. After a stressful 8 hours someone contacted New Forest District Council to say they had found Izzy, she was beside the busy A road, having bolted off on her walk at 6.30 am and must have gotten lost and emerged soewhere she did not recognise, unfortunately by a busy road. Apparently several vcars had stopped but she would go to no one but a farmer in a pick up triuck stopped and opened the passenger door for her and she jumped in and sat on the seat. He took her back to his farm and kept her in a kennel until we heard he had her. So relieved!! Myself and my partner Pete have been beside ourself and Izzy's best friend Fynn my 7 year old black male shepherd was heartbroken when she disappeared and we had to eventually (after three hours) leave without her on our morning walk. Lost a days work and been through agony...but all's well that ends well. Love my dogs!! X
