Brilliant news that Marley has been found xxx

Marley is safe and sound. We suspect he had been targeted for stealing but when they tried to grab him he bolted and got lost in the confusion. He has spent the day refusing to leave his owners side and scared to go outside initially. Thanks for everyone who helped out! He will be getting chipped ASAP and hopefully neutered soon after

Could any helpers in BD16 also be sent alerts as this area borders onto BD9.

I can laminate posters if needed, please just put on here that you want them and I'll do them asap. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time at the moment for postering. I will keep a look out though whilst I am driving around the area.

Poster has been shared on various groups on facebook - I have also messaged owner with contact details for all local vets etc. I will be out postering tomorrow (unwell atm and want to get some plastic wallets to put them in) in and around the local area

Marley had gone out into the garden which has a bolt on the gate. Around 1pm her sister noticed that Marley wasn't around. When owner checked the garden the gate was wide open. Have advised her to notify police as he may have been taken - also to check if any have been picked up today as some may describe as "Akita" type . Marley is Husky/German Shepherd cross.Owners friend has contacted the dog warden and I have given number to contact Fleet Kennels. People are out looking for him at the moment although posters haven't been put up yet. There was a reported sighting around Haworth Road area but no sign of him. He was wearing a brown collar but no ID tag. Please keep a look out for Marley xxLast edited: 2013-09-15 15:17:56 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
