- There is currently a similar looking female spaniel at Lincolnshire Rescue Kennels (strays and found dogs), although it does say microchip not up to date.

- Thank you doglost coordinators.
The best thing for Lucy's owner to do is go and see this poor dog because both Lucy and her are not microchipped. Or if finder can send more photos to doglost, that will be a big help.
Latest update from finder on fb.
2nd update... The dog has been bathed and treated by the vet, looks like she will make a full recovery and then be rehomed if she can’t be reunited with her owner. Thank you everyone who has messaged me about her, I’m really sorry I just can’t reply to anymore individually xx

- I did text both numbers and sent the dog lost poster link to the Facebook group (I had to join the group as not local) fingers crossed I'm thinking maybe with new laws about breeding and chips if the dog was stolen would make sense to be dumped if they were worried they couldn't go to vets and found dog was stolen. Of all the spaniel I could see it looked the closest match I could find. Maybe the origional poster could give dog lost coordinator more details of vets etc to be checked looks old enough to possibly match plus face markings and what u can see of legs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed xxx

- Lucy's owner is devastated that she is missing. She has had alerts go out over the radio and there is an ad going in the paper shortly. She has contacted local vets and rescues and spoken to railtrack and she is going to contact the Highways Agency.
