We would like to thank all the people for their tremendous support in the successful search for Barney , especially Lou whom gave us great support and kept us positive when it felt like all was lost, Kirstieand her mum for putting up all the posters(they beat us to all the prominent positions) ! all the kind people out there searching for him and Franchesca, the lady that called me with the crucial sighting this morning,thank you all. Barney is now fast asleep on the bed in the spare bedroom , he knows he's not allowed in there , we might just let him off tonight.Thanks again from Paul,Tracy,Joe ,Emily and Maisie xxxxx

Barney' s owners have been out postering and searching all day.
From their postering they have had more reported sightings of Barney from yesterday.
These were of him running down Cowlersley Lane towards he junction with Manchester road, postcode area HD4 5TY
He could possibly be heading towards the Milnsbridge area.
If sighted please do not chase or approach him- please telephone his owners.

There has been a possible sighting of Barney reported after he went missing near to the Hill Tree park residential caravan site.
His owners have been searching yesterday and today and are postering and flyering the area today.
They have contacted all the relevant authorities.
Barney is wearing an ID tag and he is Microchipped.
Have given advice on searching the area and media appeals.
Really hoping there is news of him very soon
