- My springer always has a harness too, because he was a master at slipping his collar, once nearly caused a RTA when he was a youngster, the collar wasn't too loose either.
Hopefully if he is a escapee he has been caught now - 2013-09-20 07:41 Nora
- "Ducking in and out bracken" sounds like a typical springer, hence why mine doesn't go of a lead, catches a scent and he is gone yelping away in excitement, he is completely oblivious to anyone or anything else, including cliffs, roads, people's gardens etc....the only thing going on in his brain then is usually " yippee yippee bunny bunny bunny yippee"
If the springer appeared happy and excited rather than distressed, he may have been working or on a daft springer spree - 2013-09-19 23:34 digbysmum
- Do hope this boy is soon caught. Maybe a working dog? Might be worth contacting any nearby shoots x
