- Thank you all for the lovely comments, Peppa is still very clingy and keeps sniffing her bedding and cushion, (I think because she is missing Ginny and can smell her) She keeps shaking and sleeping a lot and doesnt really want to go out of the garden so we are going with that for the moment. She is eating well so Im not too worried atm. Thanks again for everyones comments and help. My area co-ordinator told me not to give up hope of finding her when she rang me and she was right. Its lovely to have her safely home but heartbreaking too as they were like twins, totally inseparable.

- Really pleased that you got Peppa home. Slowly slowly with her. She may need some help thro' your vet or even Rescue Remedy drops in the water bowl might help in the short term. Stay safe lovely girl thoughts are with you all xx

- Received text from Peppas mum around 6.30pm tonight with the fantastic news they had found her and she was safely home.
I had spoken with Peppas owner around lunchtime today but was on my way to work so was unable to update her DL page. Requested picture, gave advice re contacting the chip company , dog wardens for Craven and Leeds area (they had already notified Bradford dog warden) and to post on Facebook They received calls of sightings of Peppa and owners husband & son went down to the spot which had bushes under the bridge on the bypass (A629) but didn't see anything initially. They were moving away from the area when they hear a noise and then barking as they walked away so went back and Peppa was there. Apparantly Peppa doesn't bark very much but she must have realised her family were there and alerted them to her location.
Poor girl was petrified and as it was very close to where Ginny was found think she may have witnessed the RTA with Ginny and then just hid in fear. Thank you to EVERYONE for sharing her details and helping owners to locate Peppa. She is safe at home now. Her owner said they tried to take her for a walk but she is absolutely terrified of cars now. Hopefully with her familys love she will gradually overcome her fear. Welcome home Peppa xxxx - 2013-09-19 13:59 Gino

- Contacted Peppas owner but was in a meeting so will contact me as soon as able to. Sadly, Ginny the other cocker spaniel had been involved in a RTA and is deceased. RIP Ginny. Run free at the bridge xxxLast edited: 2013-09-19 11:23:27 by Furlover - Area Co-ordinator, West Yorkshire
